Your program begins with a comprehensive two-hour consultation led by an experienced trainer, kicking off your personalized one-on-one training journey. During this session, we’ll review your goals, assess your dog’s behavior, and observe your home environment to determine the most effective plan forward. You’ll also be introduced to practical training techniques, including foundational skills such as sit, place, and polite leash manners, so you can start seeing progress right away.

Private Training Sessions

Whether you need guidance with a new puppy, foundational obedience, or help addressing concerns such as aggression or anxiety, our private training programs are designed for dogs of every breed, size, and personality. Each plan is comprehensive, covering essential skills from leash manners and house training to building independence and confidence, so you see meaningful improvements across all aspects of daily life.

Group Training

Our group classes are designed to help dogs perform reliably outside the home, where distractions are unavoidable. These sessions build on foundational skills and focus on advanced obedience, impulse control, and working calmly around other dogs and people. Training also supports preparation for Canine Good Citizen standards and similar real-life benchmarks. Access to group classes is included as a benefit of our Trainer on Retainer and Priority programs, giving clients ongoing opportunities to strengthen skills in practical settings.

Expecting Parents Program

Getting ready to welcome a new baby into your home? We help prepare your dog in advance by building calm behaviors, clear boundaries, and safe routines before your child arrives. Taking these steps early reduces anxiety and helps your dog adjust more smoothly, giving you greater peace of mind as your family grows.

Service Dog Training

We offer specialized programs for Mobility Assistance, Hearing, and Psychiatric Service Dogs. These programs involve intensive, long-term work between you, your dog, and our experienced trainers to develop reliable task performance and dependable behavior in daily life. The goal is a confident, highly skilled service dog that can consistently support your needs in a wide range of environments.

Therapy Dog Training

We prepare dogs and handlers to successfully meet the standards required for therapy dog certification. Our training emphasizes calm temperament, reliable obedience, and confident behavior in a variety of public settings. For official evaluation and certification, we partner with Dogs With A Purpose, a Wake County–based therapy dog organization that administers testing upon program completion.
